Each calendar year, the GBCC hosts a week-long, after-hours virtual training course for graduate students interested in learning about (or sharpening their skills in) strategy consulting. This Consulting Boot Camp is a popular, application-based program open to students and postdocs from across the country.

Professionals from local consulting firms will help lead our interactive workshop sessions that aim to lay the foundations of the skills you need to land that coveted consulting job. You will be introduced to concepts of consulting career pathways, learn about on-campus resources and events to prepare for consulting careers, and have a chance to refine your own career plan.

This virtual event will be held Feb. 18 (Sun) through Feb. 23 (Fri) at 4:30pm – 8:00pm. Participants MUST commit to attending and participating in all sessions! This boot camp is primarily designed for graduate students who are at least a year away from graduation to prepare them for interviews in 2024 and beyond.

Are you curious about strategy consulting but not ready to commit to case practices or pro bono consulting? If so, the Consulting Boot Camp is a great place to start!

Please click below to apply, where you will answer some questions about you and attach a resume and mock cover letter. Registration is limited, and applications will be accepted until January 31 (Wed). Accepted applicants will be notified by Feb. 5 (Mon), and must pay a $10 registration fee to participate.

This event is held jointly between the GBCC, the Training Initiative for Biological and Biomedical Sciences (TIBBS) at UNC, the Accelerate to Industry (A2i) initiative at North Carolina State University, and Triangle Insights Group.
